Despite the fact that the area around Glasgow only averages around 1300 hours of sunshine a year, Jon, our cameraman barely saw a cloud during his recent shoot at Loch Lomond and the Trossach National Park.
And, as you can see the photos he sent back show that there is nothing quite as beautiful as Scotland in the sunshine.
Jon was particularly taken with the area’s beautiful lakes, especially Loch Katrin, north of Loch Lomond.
“It felt like something from another world or maybe another time,” he said. “I could almost imagine mythical creatures crawling out of the forest.”
