One of Tourism Media’s most recent creations is the Arches National Park Vacation Travel Guide. This awe-inspiring collection of footage and stills from Utah’s Canyon Country was put together by TM’s Ian (Photographer/Videographer) and Sandra (Shoot Planner).
Speaking of the filming process, Ian said: “After years of shooting countless places all over the world, it was sitting up at Delicate Arch at sunset where I thought to myself, this road trip through Utah has been my favourite experience of them all.”
Arches National Park is located roughly 370 kilometres (230 miles) south-east of Salt Lake City, Utah. The park is filled with towering canyons, enormous balanced rocks and, of course, incredible sandstone arches. In fact, this region is home to the greatest concentration of natural arches in the world!
On preparing for the video, our Shoot Planner Sandra said: “I could tell from the beginning of my research that this place was going to be special. For such a small and compact national park, it has so much to offer and I was awestruck at all of the incredible rock formations to see here.”
From rock climbing to camping and hiking along breathtaking trails, Arches is filled with family-friendly activities for the great outdoors. The nearby city of Moab is also a hit with tourists, acting as a gateway to multiple national parks in the area.
Whether you’re currently in a position to travel overseas or not, these videos are a wonderful way to plan for future adventures.
